New Delhi/Tehran: Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf launching a scathing attack on Israel and its Western supporters over the ongoing Gaza conflict.

In the late March 24 statement, Ghalibaf described Israel as a “colonial terror regime” and framed the conflict in stark moral terms, declaring that the world must choose sides. He said those not standing with Gaza are aligned with what he called the “Epstein class,” a pointed reference to Jeffrey Epstein.

“Iran is fighting for humanity. The world is either with Gaza and against this colonial terror regime, or it stands with the Epstein class and child torturers. There is no middle ground,” Ghalibaf wrote in the X post.

The Iranian Parliament Speaker cited reports circulating in international media regarding alleged abuses in Gaza, amplifying claims that have fueled outrage in parts of the region. However, those specific allegations have not been independently verified by major global news agencies.

Tehran has consistently positioned itself as a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause, while condemning Israeli military actions and Western backing for Tel Aviv.

Ghalibaf, who has served as Speaker since 2020, has frequently used social media to issue forceful statements on regional developments, often targeting the United States and its allies. His latest comments underscore the increasingly confrontational tone adopted by Iranian leadership as tensions in the Middle East remain high.

There was no immediate response from Israeli officials or the Israel Defense Forces regarding Ghalibaf’s latest remarks.
