India Successfully Test Fires Agni 3 Missile from Odisha

Chandipur, Odisha / New DeIhi: India on Friday successfully test fired the Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile Agni 3 from the Integrated Test Range.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed the launch. Officials said the missile met all operational and technical parameters. The test took place under the supervision of the Strategic Forces Command.

The missile followed its planned flight path. Radars and tracking systems monitored the launch. Scientists collected real time data throughout the mission. Defence sources said the test proved the system’s reliability and readiness.

Agni 3 is a nuclear capable missile with a strike range of around 3,000 to 3,500 kilometres. It forms a key part of India’s strategic deterrence. The successful launch strengthens India’s defence preparedness and reinforces its credible minimum deterrence posture.
