Dalai Lama Denies Any Link to Epstein Amid Social Media Claims
New Delhi: The Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama issued a formal press statement rejecting attempts to link the Tibetan spiritual leader with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In a statement shared on the official social media handle of the Dalai Lama, the office said some recent media reports and social media posts concerning the so called Epstein files were attempting to associate His Holiness with Epstein.
The statement categorically denied the claims, saying His Holiness has never met Jeffrey Epstein and has not authorised any meeting or interaction with him by anyone on his behalf.
The clarification comes amid renewed online discussions surrounding documents and reports related to Epstein.
The Office described the allegations as baseless and sought to dispel misinformation circulating on digital platforms.
The statement was issued on February 8, 2026, and shared publicly to address the claims directly.
